Jay Cutler SmartShake Cup Review

Daniel Brady | November 27, 2012 in Supplements

I am happy with my $13 Smart Shake. It’s great for separating powders from water, and even 2 powders at a time, like a pre-workout and post-workout. The blender in the lid of the cup works fine, and I have had no issue cleaning it. Since I can’t think of anything that needs improvement, I guess that means it deserves a 9 or 10 out of 10. I even like the black and gold color.

Personally I take Whey Protein in the large compartment and Creatine & Glutamine in the small compartment. It holds about 400ml (13oz) water, which is not enough for drinking and then mixing the supplements, so I take an additional 600ml water bottle every training day.

The compartments lock together strongly, and I’ve never been worried about it falling to pieces. I clearly like this cup and would recommend it to anybody who takes powder supplements after training. The only small drawback is having to wash it for a minute or two every night, then leave it to dry.
